The third meeting of the IntoAction user committee will take place on June 15th at the Thomas More campus in Geel The IntoAction-team and -project were well represented on the OTWorld congress in Leipzig, that was held on May 15th - May 18th. Within the session "Foot and shoe - insoles" 3 out of 4 presentations were about the IntoAction project: Two workshops were organised for bachelor students about screening people for foot related problems. 29 students generated advises (within a few fictional cases but also for themselves) with the screeningstools developed within the IntoAction-project. 363 non sedentary employees have been screened with the IntoAction screeningstool. 127 of them were subjected to a more extensive screening. The subjects are employees of IOK, Assist@Home and Thomas More. About 30 people were advised to wear insoles. In June additional screenings will take place among Thomas More teachers.
